Nescot College has a fantastic opportunity for a permanent, full time, Head of Examinations in our friendly, easily accessible campus in Epsom, Surrey managing a team of 5 dedicated examination staff, and a bank of invigilation staff.

What we are looking for:

We are seeking candidates with the following skills and experience: customer orientated management experience, excellent administrative, organisation, attention to detail, time management and IT skills are essential.  The successful head of examinations will have outstanding communication skills and be able to translate the requirement of our awarding bodies into processes and procedure to be applied across the college.

Examination’s experience is desirable, however not essential. We welcome all applicants that feel they have the skills, experience and qualities for the Head of Examinations role. We encourage those who may be seeking a new career direction who have senior administrative experience and experience managing and leading a team to apply for the head of examinations.

Head of Examinations duties and responsibilities:

  • Manage registrations and entries of candidates
  • Manage the organisation and conduct of examinations and assessment
  • Manage the distribution of results and certificates.
  • Ensure compliance of JCQ regulations and primary contact for awarding bodies
  • Recruit, train and manage invigilation staff
  • Work with MI Team to develop reports
