At Nescot we are recruiting for a Learning Support Co-ordinator to join our Learning support team int eh Foundations Department

What we’re looking for:

  • Excellent knowledge of SEN D
  • Good communications and organisational skills
  • Successful supervisory experience is a MUST
  • Strong knowledge of EHCP’s, the Annual Review process and experience in supporting a wide range of students with additional needs

Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Deploy and monitor resources (including staff) efficiently and effectively to meet students’ needs
  • Administrative tasks
  • Contribute to assessment and target setting for students
  • Regularly meet with DLSAs and LSAs to aid consistency of information and share good practice.
  • Maintain accurate records of LSA support
  • Organise, deliver and assess training for Learning Support Assistants
  • Liaise with all stakeholders (students, staff, parent/carers, external agencies)
  • Attend student interviews, open evenings/days to promote the Foundation Learning department.
  • Follow and contribute to college policies and procedures 
  • Manage and contribute to the personal care of the cohort
