We are seeking enthusiastic an experienced Security Officer to work as part of our Estates, Health and Safety Team.

What we are looking for:

  • Comfortable working alone and using your initiative with a commitment to safeguarding and promoting student welfare
  • Understanding and awareness of current security environments
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build appropriate and professional relationships

Duties/responsibilities:

  • Contribute to providing a safe and secure environment for our students, staff and visitors.
  • Quickly Assess situations and take appropriate actions
  • Provision of reception service at the Old Reception
  • Carrying out regular internal and external patrols
  • Carrying out investigations, or searches, as directed by the College management

A flexible approach to working hours is required.  Your regular working days will be Monday to Friday, however a flexible approach to working occasional weekends in required (a weekday off would be swapped for working a Saturday in this instance).
