What we are looking for:

  • Previous relevant administrative experience within a diverse organisation (ideally within education) is required
  • IT literate with high levels of word processing, database and spreadsheet skills.
  • Strong understanding of regulatory compliance, policy importance and internal governance
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and spoken
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, and the ability to use your own initiative and work independently.

 

Duties/responsibilities: (Please see the Job Description for the full list of duties/responsibilities)

  • Manage and process compliments, suggestions and complaints from a wide range of stakeholders including learners, parents, employers and the public.
  • Coordinate the policy review cycle, ensuring that all documents are updated according to their designated interval and reflect the correct ‘policy originator’ and ‘last review date’.
  • Support the Data Protection Officer in ensuring all staff comply with GDPR and other data protection laws at all times.
  • Conduct regular audits of SharePoint to ensure adherence to storage protocols and address non-compliance via appropriate management channels.
  • Prepare documentation, scheduling, and take minutes for meetings and committees.
  • Act as a contact point for academic staff, students, and other stakeholders regarding policy, compliance and feedback.
