Part time (3 days per week)

 

What we are looking for:

  • Qualified in Early Years
  • Experience of assessing in the workplace, teaching and preparing learners for EPA.
  • Industry knowledge/experience

 

Duties/responsibilities:

  • To assess work, track off-the-job training in line with the agreed training plan
  • Support learners to develop and attend English and maths (where required)
  • Supporting learners to gain the Knowledge, Skills and Behaviours.
  • Prepare and support learners thorough their EPA.
  • Support learners to build and develop their Portofino of evidence.
  • Deliver teaching sessions to support learners’ knowledge and skills once a week.

Nescot is graded ‘Good’ by Ofsted following its latest inspection in January 2023. Inspectors rated the College as Good in all 8 aspects. The report recognises that students “enjoy their courses and are motivated to succeed”, and benefit from “highly supportive relationships” with staff. Safeguarding arrangements are “effective” with regular training for staff, and leaders have in place “an effective policy for safer recruitment.”
